“UNIX was not designed to be learned; UNIX was designed to be used. In other words, it can be confusing and time-consuming to learn UNIX. However, once you have mastered the skills you need, for whatever work you want to do, working with Unix is fast and easy.”- Harley Hahn

This page contains the ISO file that will need to be burnt as an image to a CD. Do not just make a CD and copy the ISO to it as an ordinary file, it will not boot. Contact spadacd@spada-cd.info for the password.
To change the region open the ISO file in a hex editor and replace the line near the end of the file from CONFIGS="/cdrom/KNOPPIX/configs.tbz.us" to CONFIGS="/cdrom/KNOPPIX/configs.tbz.au" or visa versa, save the ISO then burn to disk as normal. **HINT** Use your hex editor's search function to search for the text string "CONFIGS="/cdrom/KNOPPIX/configs.tbz" to locate the correct offset to modify. |
